No, once you have added a project to Snyk you can not rename it.
When you run snyk monitor in the CLI we use the name of the root package to find the appropriate project. If a project for that package-name is not found, we create one using that name. The CLI will use the directory base-name if the root package has no name.
Similarly, we will use the remote url for the Project group name.
You can override the Project name in the Snyk UI by using the --project-name argument in the CLI.
You can override the Project group name in the Snyk UI by using the --remote-repo-url argument in the CLI.
Note: You must be running CLI version 1.217.3 or above for the --remote-repo-url flag.
