At times you may have noticed Snyk does not find any dependencies for a project.
There is a possibilty that you may only have devdependencies and not dependencies .
You have to manually turn on devdependencies by checking the box settings 
> Language > scan and fix devdependencies
Considering other instances, You can also have an appropriate lockfile for us to scan dependencies. Snyk runs scan against an appropriate lockfile
