The Snyk CLI reports an event for each command to Snyk analytics, including the version of the CLI being used, the User ID, and the package name. This allows Snyk to get a better understanding of how the CLI is used by customers and informs the product development team in order to make the right implementation decisions.
Opt out from CLI analytics
To opt out of these CLI analytics, set the disable-analytics flag with the following command:
snyk config set disable-analytics=1
To disable the flag, run:
snyk config unset disable-analytics
Opt out from other analytics
Snyk does not currently provide a function to opt-out from other (non-CLI) Snyk usage analytics.
Block website tracking
Snyk uses a range of web analytics tools to understand and analyze user behavior on snyk.io. To block tracking, use one of the many browser tools available.
