By default, CLI projects are treated as private, but you can set them to open source
When using the CLI to run
snyk monitor locally to monitor a project on https://app.snyk.io, a project is created it is defaulted to NOT Open Source. We don't have access to source code running on a machine.
We offer unlimited tests on Public Open Source Repos, while tests against private projects count towards your monthly test usage allowance.
If your project is open source, you can update this by going to Your projects, clicking on the relevant CLI project that you wish to modify, click on 'Settings' and enter the location of the project's source code in the Open Source section.
You must provide a valid git remote that is accessible to the internet without authentication.
