Problem:
If you have previously had the Bitbucket Connect/ Cloud App integration configured, or a configuration was partially completed, it is possible that further connection attempts may fail and provide a message similar to Error creating Bitbucket Connect integration.
Please return to Snyk and try again
Discussion:
If the connection is incomplete (partially completed), or a disconnection is not completed cleanly, it is possible that one or both sides of the integration may remain in a partial state, which can prevent future connection attempts.
Resolution:
To resolve this issue, please remove the connection from both Snyk and Bitbucket side and try a fresh connection.
To remove the connections:
In Snyk:
go to the Org > Integrations page, and if the Bitbucket Cloud App is listed as configured, click the settings cog.
scroll to the bottom of the page and click Remove Bitbucket Cloud. This will not delete your existing projects from Snyk, but will deactivate them.
In Bitbucket:
As a Workspace administrator, navigate to the workspace settings, and find the Installed app and remove it.
Reconfigure the connection by clicking the Bitbucket Cloud App tile in Snyk, and follow the steps in Snyk's User Docs: https://docs.snyk.io/scm-ide-and-ci-cd-integrations/snyk-scm-integrations/bitbucket-cloud-app
If you still experience issues, please open a ticket with Snyk Support and provide the Org ID.
