Problem:
When users log into Snyk Web UI, if they are assigned a Custom Role they may unexpectedly see a page similar to the following, which shows the Org but does not show Dashboard or Projects view, and gives a Forbidden error:
Discussion:
This occurs when View Project History permission is not enabled.
When logging in, the view defaults to Dashboard, which requires project vulnerability counts and other information obtained by scanning the project. This is managed by the View Project History permission option.
Resolution:
If the Role is expected to view project-related data of an organization along with other operations - View Organization , View Project, and View Project History permissions should be added to the role at a minimum.
Please ensure View Project History is enabled on the role
